Strong sense of community

Parents choose St Paul’s because of high academic standards, strong values and a safe school environment. At St Paul’s we stress the value of self-discipline and commitment. St Paul’s strives to create a special bond among the students, the home, the school, and the church, so that all can share in the strong sense of community.

The St Paul’s staff are experienced professionals. We are committed to bringing out the best in each student as they grow in knowledge, skills, and values. At St Paul’s the teachers will teach a quality curriculum, but more importantly they will teach your child, at their point of need. We help students understand that each person is unique and valuable. All of our staff know all of the children individually. St Paul’s emphasises the development of the whole person, meaning that not only do our students develop academically, but importantly they will grow socially, spiritually, emotionally and physically. We represent affordable excellence; there is an emphasis on manners, respect and listening skills, which are explicitly modelled, taught and expected at St Paul’s.

At St Paul’s there is a mutual respect among students, staff and parents, which generates an atmosphere of care and concern. We join with families to help students understand their special place in the community, the Church and in society. Students explore their faith through classes and activities in Scripture, Sacraments, Church, and morality. While not all students who come to St Paul’s are Catholic, all members of the community share experiences of faith and values.

St Paul’s is a small school and there are big opportunities! The emphasis is on participation by all students. Our Specialist classes are Italian, Music, Physical Education and Visual Art. With our small class sizes, students are given easy access to teachers and programs. Public speaking is a regular occurrence, both at assemblies and in the Church at Class Masses. Students take opportunities to participate in Inter School Sport, they gain regular access to technology resources and biennially we hold a school musical and a school art show.  We offer both intervention and enrichment or extension programs.

At St Paul’s we encourage family input and involvement in the ongoing education of your child. This leads to a proactive and open communication style where the partnership between parents and staff is strong. We stand for student wellbeing, we stand for respect, and we will always stand for your child.

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Parents Say

I remain pleasantly surprised with our child’s growth and enthusiasm about school – thank you for helping to provide such a strong foundation, building confidence for the children to make their own decisions about the present and the future (and step out of the comfort zone).

Like many parents, we are understandably very particular about the schooling environment that our child is exposed to and I must commend you and your team on creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for the students.
